This house was a project constructed by “Orfeas” stemming from its off plan scheme offered by the Company, in the resort of Agia Marina, Chania, Crete. It stands at a constructed size of 200 m2 which is the two storeys plus a 160 m2 of basement. The construction was completed in a period of 6 months from start to finish including all regulations of safety according to the law.
As one can see the house holds two styles firstly a unique traditional style perfectly harmonized with the environment and secondly combining the more modern style of design that can be seen by the shape of its balconies with wooden pergola.
The basement includes a play room area with a wall made of local stone, extra storage and a boiler room along with two bedrooms. There’s a private bathroom for the one bedroom and a communal w.c.
From the inside steps, we have access to the ground floor that includes the living room, kitchen and three bedrooms with bathroom. Two arches have been made by local stone that gives the more traditional side along with its fire place supporting the same stone materials. There are three balconies, one for each bedroom and a large balcony built around the living room and kitchen that offers its splendid views.
The upper floor accessed by its main stairway includes the master bedroom with a bathroom and a walk in wardrobe room. Two large balconies with its wooden pergola structure offers stunning sea and mountain views, making this area ideal for relaxation.
More so, the house provides other creature comforts such as the 6m * 9m swimming pool which is accessible from all areas of the house. On the right of the pool stands the BBQ area including the BBQ, a wooden pergola and an outside shower. On the left of the pool there is a play area for children.
The exterior land is covered with grass and flowers and the formation landscaping includes three parking spaces, pathways made of local stone from the entrance of the house to the rest of the pathways, metallic automatic garage door and entrance gate and olive trees on the perimeter protected, as the whole house is, with a fence.
