The medical services in Greece are excellent and Crete holds many of the best health care  services throughout.  Boasting highly qualified physicians and surgeons covering every field of medicine.

All residents of the EU countries are eligible to receive free emergency medical care.  Medical insurance is always a must for additional cover.

Recently Greece was ranked 14th out of 191 by the World Health Organization and now believing that it has moved up quite a considerable amount of numeric figures surely placing Greece in the top eight.

In 2001, the Greek Government invested in a major health care revamp in which the sector was boasted considerably with a 11.5% increase in health care spending.

Crete holds many first class hospitals along with an abundance of private clinics of all health care profession.
